BA in Journalism from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He has a PhD in Information Science from the University with the status of Summa Cum Laude. He has spent most of his professional life in RTVE where he played, among others, the positions of Head of Programmes Radio 5, Deputy Director of Regional Broadcasting and Director of State Institute of Radio and Television. It has also been Deputy Director of Broadcasting Madrid. As a teacher, has performed its work at the following universities: Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, Universidad San Pablo-CEU and Universidad Francisco de Vitoria. His research has focused in areas related to professional profiles in the media, communication radio, television and children, and information on gender.
